On January 3, 2024, the following announcement was posted to the store's Facebook page:
Dear Beloved Clovers Community,
There is no easy way to say this, but our beloved leader and matriarch Patty Clover passed away peacefully this morning after a long battle with cancer. There are no words to describe our grief. Please know that Clovers will continue to live on in her open hearted and generous spirit.
We know Patty meant so much to this community, please know that all of us are grieving along with you. We’ll keep you informed about any memorial services. In the meantime, please share with us some of your favorite memories with Patty.
You're welcome, Kris. I could easily see Patty taking that career path. So sad that she succumbed to cancer, after helping so many people on their journeys to health and fitness for nearly 35 years.
